Am I the right fit for this course?

If you are a professional with 5+ years of experience and aspiring to be an entrepreneur in the climate tech or circular economy domain. Even if you are interested in the space and dont have a crisp business ideas to begin with, we have you covered!

What are the minimum requirements to take up the course?

An interest in Climate Tech or the Circular Economy and professional experience of at least five years in any industry. Send us an email if you are professional and do not have the requisite number of years of experience.

Can you elaborate on the different topics covered in the Circular Economy course?

In the Circular Economy course, we will cover waste (plastics, textiles, agriculture, construction, and demolition, etc.) management technologies, waste to value (construction materials, packaging, energy), clean alternative materials (clean packaging materials, etc.), natural resource management (air, water, soil, etc.).
The course will allied offer self-guided courses to build basic domain knowledge. The course itself will offer options to follow case studies of startups in different domains for learning.

What is the duration of the course?

3 months. We also offer mentorship to aid in business idea development pre and post the course for continued support.

Will this course fit my schedule? What if i miss a session?

This course is virtual and is designed to offer flexibility. We understand that you may have a busy work schedule and the sessions will be generally held on Friday evenings or weekends. We encourage all to attend sessions as learnings come with interaction. However, if you can't attend any session, the recording will be uploaded along with all materials and assignments. We will make sure you are on track!

Is financial aid/scholarship/discount provided?

We want our courses to be inclusive. If you are unable to pay at the time, please write to us. We can customise payment plans to include installments and discounts to support some in need.

How will the selections be made for this course? When will I know if I have been selected?

The selections are based on the quality of applications, eligibility criteria, and commitment to the program. You will be intimated about the acceptance by email according to the timelines of the program given on the website.

Do I receive a certificate at the end of the online program?

Yes, we will issue a certificate of completion.

How can I drop or withdraw from a course?

After you have enrolled in the course, you can have the flexibility to change your mind within 15 days. You opt to withdraw from the course within this period and get a full refund if the course has not started.

Can I get a refund if I am unable to attend the course?

If you are unable to attend after the course has begun, you can make a call to withdraw from the course within 2 weeks. 60% of the course fee will be refunded at this stage.

Is any training /course material provided?

Each module in the course will have presentations, recordings, videos, and allied readings uploaded each week on our learning management system (LMS), Thinkific. Apart from this, assignments will be uploaded each week. The self-guided learning courses will also be offered for free on Thinkific.

Can I join the Climate Accelerator immediately post the course?

The Climate Accelerator is a 3-month market validation accelerator program. You will get a free entry when you reach the product development stage of your startup. Don't worry if it takes 1-2 years, the Climate Accelerator runs every year and has been running since 2018.

What happens if, after the completion of the course, I am still not ready to be an entrepreneur?

This course will positively put you on the path of entrepreneurship! You can avail of opportunities to be a part of the exciting climate startup space, by exploring the Climate Jobs Board and getting internships and jobs in a startup. You can also continue to be part of the ecosystem and continue learning and exposure through community activities and events like Climate Startup Week.

Post the course, what kind of immediate support can I expect to continue my startup journey?

You can opt for continued business mentorship. You will also get opportunities to choose an incubator from our network if you need support to continue product development.

Will there be offline meetups after the completion of the course?

We run events like Climate Startup Week in which there are offline events. You will be kept informed and invited to relevant events to network.
